Cold Front er nafn á nýjum hljómdiski. Ţar leikur hinn vinsćli jazzgítarleikari Björn Thoroddsen ásamt hinum ţekktu jazzleikurum, trompetleikarnum Richard Gillis frá Kanada og bandaríska kontrabassaleikaranum Steve Kirby. Hljómdiskurinn hefur ţegar veriđ gefin út í Kanada og hlotiđ góđa dóma og veriđ leikin í kanadíska ríkisútvarpinu, á landsvísu, bćđi í gegnum frönskumćlandi stöđina í Montreal og ţá enskumćlandi í Toronto. Til gamans fylgir hér úrdráttur úr bréfi frá Guy Sauve yfirmanni tónlistarsafns CBC í Montreal sem hreifst sérlega af Birni okkar og tónlistinni á ţessum frábćra diski:
